Priscilla Presley Clears the Air About Reported Feud with Granddaughter Riley Keough
The former wife of Elvis Presley has previously addressed the reported tensions with her granddaughter in a joint statement. The rumors began when a recently filed lawsuit claimed the pair were feuding.
Priscilla Presley is getting candid about her relationship with her granddaughter, Riley Keough. Despite what a $50 million lawsuit filed this past August alleges, the businesswoman said she has never feuded with Riley.

"Riley and I have never had a problem," Priscilla told PEOPLE in her new cover story, out this Friday. "I just have one battle, and that's with a certain person." The person she was referring to is her former business partner, Brigitte Kruse.
Kruse and another former business partner, Kevin Fialko, are suing Priscilla for $50 million, alleging fraud and breach of contract. In their complaint, the two accuse Priscilla of taking her daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, off life support to regain control of the Elvis estate.

Lisa, Riley’s mother, died in 2023 due to complications from a bariatric surgery she had undergone years earlier. Kruse and Fialko's lawsuit alleges that after Lisa's death, tensions arose between Priscilla and Riley, who became the sole heir of the Elvis estate.
The pair denied the claims in a joint statement on September 5. "We are aware of the latest allegations from Brigitte Kruse. These claims are not only untrue but also deeply hurtful. Our family is, and always has been, united in love and respect for one another," the statement read.

It continued, "Our shared priority remains honoring Lisa Marie's memory and protecting Elvis' legacy with dignity. We will not allow outside voices to divide us or to diminish the strength of our bond as a family."
In her cover story interview, Priscilla said she is "very close" with Riley, and that they support one another. The 80-year-old also shared that she finds great joy in her role as a great-grandmother to Riley's two kids: Tupelo, 3, and another child born earlier this year.
"I love her babies. I'm really happy for Riley. She's got an amazing husband and two great children, so I'm happy for her very much," she said. "That's what makes me happy: knowing everyone is doing well. I feel I'm living a good life."
