On May 24, 2026, Megan posted a playful selfie with Solange to her Instagram Stories. In the photo, the pair stuck out their tongues while posing together near the water during what appeared to be a tropical vacation.

Solange later shared additional glimpses from the trip in a carousel posted to Instagram. The singer uploaded several photos showing the pair enjoying scenic waterfront views, boat rides, sunsets, and beachside moments.

Both Megan and the Knowles family have frequently represented Houston throughout their careers, making Solange's caption especially meaningful to fans.

"May thee light shine upon all h-town legends forever more," Solange captioned the post, giving a nod to their shared Houston roots.

While neither artist revealed the exact location of the getaway, the photos captured a laid-back atmosphere filled with calm water, sandy shorelines, and evening skies. The vacation also marked the first time Megan and Solange had publicly shared moments together online.

Megan Previously Worked with Beyoncé

Although Megan and Solange had not previously been seen together publicly, the rapper has collaborated with Solange's sister, Beyoncé, in the past.

She appeared on the Grammy-winning "Savage (Remix)" with the "Cowboy Carter" singer in 2020, and the two later performed together during Beyoncé's "Renaissance World Tour" stop in Houston in 2023.

Both Megan and the Knowles family have frequently represented Houston throughout their careers, making Solange's caption especially meaningful to fans.

Megan Recently Faced a Difficult Few Months

The getaway came shortly after Megan wrapped her Broadway run in "Moulin Rouge! The Musical." The production marked her Broadway debut, though she exited the show early on May 1 instead of her originally scheduled departure date of May 17.

During her time in the production, Megan missed two performances following a hospitalization on March 31. She returned to the stage on April 2 and later described the experience as "a real wake-up call."

The beach trip also followed her recent breakup from Dallas Mavericks player Klay Thompson. Days before announcing her departure from "Moulin Rouge!," Megan confirmed the split in a statement, saying:

"I've made the decision to end my relationship with Klay. Trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there's no real path forward. I'm taking this time to prioritize myself and move ahead with peace and clarity."

She later appeared to reference alleged infidelity in an emotional Instagram post, writing that she needed "a REAL break after this one." Thompson has not publicly commented on the breakup.

For now, however, Megan Thee Stallion appears focused on relaxation, friendship, and enjoying time away from the spotlight alongside Solange.
