Tom Holland has opened up about his relationship with Zendaya for the first time since news of their marriage emerged earlier this year, confirming that he and the "Euphoria" star had indeed tied the knot.

Back in March, Zendaya's longtime stylist and close friend Law Roach was the first to let the cat out of the bag. At the 2026 Actors Award, Law told reporters that "the wedding has already happened," and doubled down at the 2026 Oscars, telling Extra, "I said what I said."

Shortly after, AI-generated images of the couple celebrating at what appeared to be their nuptials went viral. Tom addressed the incident — which he found more amusing than anything — during a new cover interview with Esquire.

The 30-year-old revealed that his grandmother thought she hadn't been invited when she saw the images making the rounds online. When asked whether he'd had to reach out to other family members to set the record straight, he replied, "No, because they were all there."

"That's all you'll get on that," he added firmly.

Tom and Zendaya first crossed paths on the set of "Spider-Man: Homecoming" in 2016, though it wasn't until the following year that romantic rumors began to swirl. In the interview, Tom recalled his first impression of Zendaya when she came in to audition for the role of MJ.

"Obviously, I was super excited at the prospect of working with her and getting to know her," he said. "She smashed her audition out the park and got the part before she'd even left the room. I remember when she closed the door to leave, [producer] Amy Pascal was immediately like, 'Well, she's getting the job.'"

Their relationship became public knowledge in July 2021 — though not on their own terms. The couple had kept things remarkably under wraps until paparazzi photos of them kissing in a car surfaced online.

By September, they had made things Instagram official, with Tom sharing a mirror selfie from the set of "Spider-Man" to mark Zendaya's 25th birthday, captioning it, "My MJ, have the happiest of birthdays. Gimme a call when your [sic] up xxx."

In the years that followed, the pair continued to guard their privacy closely. Then, in January 2025, Zendaya set tongues wagging when she was spotted wearing a diamond ring on the Golden Globes red carpet.

Through the public scrutiny, career pressures, and everything in between, the two have only grown closer. "Our business can present very stressful situations and it's really nice to have a bedrock of a relationship that will stand the test of time," Tom said.

"We can support each other in ways that only we can, because only we understand really what it's like to live this life, and I think that is such a luxury, because I just don't understand how I would be able to have anything like that with anyone else," he continued.

"So, for me, I found my person. She's my best friend, and I'm the happiest I ever have been when I'm with her, but I also have never felt so supported and safe, ever. Period," the "Uncharted" star added. "Maybe when I was young with my parents and my dad was picking me up from school. Not to say that our relationship is like my mum and dad."
