King Charles Had No Interaction with His Brother, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, During Sandringham Visit
King Charles spent part of the weekend at Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, but he did not meet with his younger brother Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, who is currently living there. Sources say the monarch had no plans to see Andrew during the visit despite their shared location.

It has been reported that the monarch, 77, was at the royal residence on Saturday, February 28, and Sunday, March 1, 2026. Andrew, 66, is currently living on the estate as well. Despite being in the same location over the weekend, the two brothers did not cross paths.
While at Sandringham on Sunday, King Charles was photographed attending a church service at St. Mary Magdalene Church, a location traditionally associated with royal family gatherings.

Changes to Andrew’s Royal Status
The lack of contact between the brothers follows significant changes to Andrew’s royal status. Last October 2025, King Charles removed Andrew’s royal titles and privileges.
By February 2, Andrew had also moved from his longtime residence, Royal Lodge, located on the Windsor estate. The property had been his home for nearly 23 years and is known for its large 30-room layout.
After leaving Royal Lodge, Andrew relocated to the more secluded Sandringham estate in Norfolk where he's kept a low profile following the recent string of events linking him to Jeffrey Epstein.

Arrest and Allegations
Andrew was reportedly at Marsh Farm, a residence favored by Prince Philip, on February 19, which was also his 66th birthday. On that day, he was arrested and held in custody for nearly 11 hours on suspicion of misconduct in public office.
Authorities allege that Andrew leaked classified information to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein during the period when Andrew served as a U.K. trade envoy between 2001 and 2011.
Andrew has not been charged with any offense and has consistently denied the allegations. He has always vehemently denied any wrongdoing.

King Charles’ recent visit to Sandringham placed the monarch and his brother Andrew in the same location, yet the two did not meet. With Andrew now living on the estate following major changes to his royal status, the lack of interaction underscores the ongoing distance between the brothers amid the controversy surrounding Andrew.
