Meghan Markle offered fans a rare glimpse into her home life with Prince Harry and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, over the weekend. The Duchess took to Instagram on Sunday, June 21, to celebrate Father's Day with a heartfelt tribute to her husband.

"They're so lucky to have you 🥹 We all are. Happy Father's Day to our one and only," she wrote, alongside a candid photo of Harry kneeling on the floor, arms wrapped around both children in a warm group embrace.

Lilibet, dressed in a white eyelet skirt and sandals and wearing a giraffe stuffed animal backpack, hugged him from the left. Archie, sporting a white graphic tee and navy shorts, clung to him from the right.

Harry kept it casual in a gray graphic T-shirt and khaki shorts, and all three were caught mid-laugh in a joyful, unguarded family moment.

The sweet post arrived against the backdrop of significant royal news. It has emerged that King Charles III offered Harry and Meghan accommodation on a royal estate during their reported upcoming visit to the UK in July.

The family is expected to cross the Atlantic for the One Year to Go festivities ahead of the Invictus Games Birmingham 2027, marking their first visit to Harry's home country together as a family in four years.

Harry has yet to respond to his father's offer. The king has previously extended invitations to stay at Buckingham Palace, each of which Harry declined. Should the Sussexes accept this time, People reported that no additional security measures would be put in place.

Security has long been a sticking point for the couple. After stepping back from royal duties in 2020, Harry and Meghan lost their taxpayer-funded police protection — something Harry has pursued through the courts, citing safety concerns.

However, in January, the Daily Mail cited government sources suggesting his security had effectively been approved.

"It's now a formality. Sources at the Home Office have indicated that security is now nailed on for Harry," a source told the outlet. Harry and his legal team, though, are still awaiting an official update from the Home Office.

Attention has since shifted to whether Meghan will come face-to-face with the royal family following years of very public tension. Royal experts suggest the ever-diplomatic Charles would welcome her, and would not turn her away.

Sources on both sides agree that the 77-year-old king is eager to spend time with his grandchildren — he has met Archie, 7, only a handful of times, and Lilibet, 5, just once.

Royal biographer and family friend Hugo Vickers weighed in on what such a reunion could mean.

"I am sure he will see the children," Vickers said. "The king has always left the door wide open, and he did see Harry last September. It's a good idea that Harry should reconcile privately with his father, for both their sakes."

Vickers added a more sobering note about the stakes involved. "The king made it clear that he didn't want his last years to be miserable, and Harry is burdened with enough trauma that, if Charles died without them making peace, that would just cause him even more problems."
