
Brad Everett Young, 'Grey's Anatomy' Actor and Photographer, Dies at 46
Brad Everett Young, a versatile actor and dedicated arts advocate, was tragically killed in a head-on collision on the Ventura Freeway in Los Angeles on Sunday night.
Brad Everett Young, the actor and photographer known for his appearances on "Grey's Anatomy" and other Hollywood productions, has died at the age of 46. According to his publicist, Paul Christensen, Young was returning home from a movie on Sunday night when his vehicle was struck by a car traveling in the wrong direction.

Young was pronounced dead at the scene on the Ventura Freeway in Los Angeles. The driver of the other vehicle survived the crash and was hospitalized, Christensen said.
A familiar face on red carpets across Hollywood, Young began his acting career in the late 1990s. He appeared in popular television shows such as "Grey's Anatomy" and "Boy Meets World," and in films including "Love & Basketball," "Charlie's Angels," and "I Love You, Man." On "Grey's Anatomy," he portrayed an appendectomy patient in a Season 5 episode that aired in 2008.

"Brad's passion for both the arts and the people behind them was unmatched," Christensen said in a statement. "He lived his mission of keeping creativity alive, and his legacy will continue through Dream Loud Official." Young was the founder of Dream Loud Official, an arts education program implemented in schools across the United States.
He is survived by his brother, Chris.
