Taylor Swift Details the Moment She Learned She Had Her Music Masters
The "Wildest Dreams" singer recounted the moment during a recent appearance on her partner's podcast with his brother. She announced that she officially acquired her masters earlier this year.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are gradually becoming more comfortable with their relationship in the spotlight — without revealing too much. The artist appeared on the Kansas City tight end's podcast, "New Heights," which he co-hosts alongside his brother, Jason Kelce.

During the episode, which premiered on Wednesday, August 13, Taylor recalled the moment she learned she officially owned all the music she had ever made after two decades of working tirelessly toward ownership.
"It was a couple months after the Super Bowl. We're in Kansas City, and I get a call from my mom and she's like, '[...] You got your music,'" Taylor explained, visibly getting choked up. "She was like, 'You got your music.' And I just like very dramatically hit the floor for real."
Taylor said she was so overwhelmed with emotion, she couldn't stop "weeping." After eventually gathering herself, Travis was the first person she thought to tell. "I'm like, get yourself together. Get your s— together. Like, just go tell Travis in a normal way," she remembered thinking.
The singer found her partner playing video games and tried to deliver the news in "a normal way." Seeing her emotional state, Travis paused his game to check on her.
"And you come up and I'm just like, 'I got all my music back.' And then just start absolutely heaving and crying," Taylor said, adding that she dropped to the floor and "had no power in my legs to support myself."
Shortly after, she publicly shared the news in a subtle Instagram post and a letter dedicated to her fans on her website.
