Coco Jones Marries Donovan Mitchell in Star-Studded Wedding

The couple said "I do" in a star-studded wedding over the weekend, with NBA stars and fellow celebrities turning out to celebrate. Several dance-floor moments from their big day have since gone viral across social media.

Coco Jones is officially off the market! The singer-songwriter and actress has tied the knot with her longtime beau, Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell.

The star-studded nuptials unfolded over the weekend, with multiple attendees posting photos and clips from the celebration on social media.

NBA stars Jaylen Brown, Jalen Brunson and Bam Adebayo, along with Ciara and Russell Wilson, were spotted celebrating alongside the newlyweds in footage circulating online.

In videos shared to Brown's Instagram Stories, Jones and Mitchell were seen swaying to Musiq Soulchild's "Love" during the reception. Jones sang along to the tender lyrics before wrapping her arms around her new husband and planting a sweet kiss.

In a separate clip, guests cheered for the couple as they made their way to the dance floor, as the DJ shouted, "Make some noise for Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell one time!"

For the ceremony, Jones was a vision a fitted white mermaid gown with thin shoulder straps that flared into a train. The bodice featured a sheer, embellished panel covered in floral appliqués and crystal-like detailing, offering a striking contrast to the smooth, structured satin skirt.

She rounded out the bridal look with a long lace-trimmed veil, a delicate bracelet, and her dark hair styled in voluminous curls cascading past her shoulders. Mitchell coordinated with his bride in an all-white ensemble made up of a button-up shirt, a vest and matching tailored trousers.

He finished the look with white sneakers, a wristwatch and a pair of lightly tinted glasses. His hair was cropped short and neat, complemented by a light beard. On Sunday, August 2, the NBA star took to his own Instagram Stories, resharing several videos guests had captured from the celebration.

In one clip, Mitchell's outfit remains the same while Jones appears in a second showstopping look for the reception — a white mini-dress with long lace sleeves and floral detailing throughout, paired with strappy heeled sandals.

The newlyweds danced closely by the DJ booth to Fantasia's "When I See U." At one point, mic in hand, Mitchell passionately serenaded his new wife as she laughed at his theatrical performance.

Jones and Mitchell have largely kept their romance out of the public eye, though Jones announced their engagement on Instagram back in July 2025. Six months later, she reflected on the moment, calling it "indescribable."

"I think about my life so much like business, and I'm like, 'Girl, you got to stop. This is the biggest contract I've ever signed.' You know what I'm saying? This is a real-life, forever commitment," she said in January.

"I talk about forever, I sing about forever, and then I'm like, 'Oh, this really forever. Okay, word up, word up,'" she continued. Jones admitted to feeling "a mix of emotions" about the milestone, but stressed that "it's exciting, it's intimidating and it's just powerful."

"It's a blessing to have somebody who also gives a lot to their career and to their brand," Jones said of Mitchell, who has consistently supported her career. "We both go really hard for the things we love, and they're demanding careers."

"I feel like we speak a different language that makes me really feel seen," she added. "And he's my biggest cheerleader, so I feel like I'm never able to doubt myself in his presence. It's just not going down like that."
