The late music manager passed away on Thursday after a quiet battle with cancer. His eldest daughter had announced just last month that he was soon to be a granddad.

"We've been keeping a couple sweet surprises," Savannah wrote on July 5, per PEOPLE. "One little girl will be making her arrival at the beginning of January and another beautiful girl named Julianna who has already been one of the greatest blessings to our family."
Savannah, who is already a mom to son Lake, went on to express deep gratitude to the Lord for the new chapter. "He's written a story we never could've imagined, and His kindness in this season has left us in awe," she continued.
"He's answered prayers we never even knew how to pray. This journey has been so special full of peace, excitement, and so much grace. We're growing again, and our hearts are so full. Thank you, Jesus," she concluded.

Savannah is Brandon's first daughter with ex-wife Melissa Ashworth, with whom he also shares son Seth. The former couple were married for over ten years, from 2001 to 2012. Brandon later remarried Kelly Clarkson in 2013, but the pair split in 2020. Their divorce was finalized in 2022.
Brandon died on Thursday morning, August 7, 2025, after a years-long battle with melanoma, a severe form of skin cancer. A spokesperson announced the news in a statement released through multiple outlets, sharing that he "died peacefully and was surrounded by family."
