Michelle Obama Marks Barack’s Birthday with Heartfelt Tribute
The former First Lady took to social media to celebrate the milestone with a sweet message. The tribute comes just weeks after the couple jointly addressed their divorce rumors.
Michelle Obama is celebrating her husband, Barack Obama, on his special day and she's letting the whole world know. The 61-year-old attorney shared a short-and-sweet tribute in honor of the former president's 64th birthday.

"Happy birthday to my love, my best friend, my everything! Barack, even after all these years, you're still the coolest guy I know. 💕," she wrote on Facebook, alongside a photo of her and Barack embracing and beaming at the camera.
Barack responded in the comments section, expressing his love and gratitude for the heartfelt wish. "Love you, Miche! And thanks everybody for all the birthday wishes," he wrote.
Michelle's post comes just weeks after Barack made a surprise appearance on her and her brother Craig Robinson's podcast, "In My Opinion," in an episode published on July 16. The pair addressed their split rumors, which have swirled since the beginning of this year.
They began with Michelle being noticeably absent from Donald Trump's inauguration and former President Jimmy Carter's funeral. The rumors gained further traction when Barack made more public appearances without his wife.
Michelle shut the speculation down following her return to the spotlight in recent months, but she and Barack put the final nail in the coffin with this interview. "There hasn't been one moment in our marriage where I thought about quitting my man," Michelle said on the podcast.
"And we've had some really hard times, we had a lot of fun times, a lot of adventures, and I have become a better person because of the man I'm married to," she continued.
Barack jokingly replied, "OK. Okay, don't—don't make me cry right at the beginning of the show that's. Don't let me start tearing up now."
