Jack Osbourne Opens Up About His Relationship with Older Sister Aimee
The media personality appeared on a podcast just days before his father's passing and shed light on the state of his relationship with his reclusive older sister.
Jack Osbourne appeared on the "Disrespectfully" podcast with hosts Katie Maloney and Dayna Kathan in an episode released on Saturday, July 16. During the interview, the 39-year-old opened up about his somewhat estranged relationship with his sister, Aimee Osbourne.

Aimee famously moved out of her home at age 16 after her family decided to document their lives in the hit reality TV series, "The Osbournes." Only her parents, Sharon and Ozzy — who was recently laid to rest — and her younger siblings, Jack and Kelly, appeared on the show.
She went on to carve out a musical career of her own, and is now the lead singer of a synth pop band called ARO. When asked why she didn't want to be part of the show, Jack shared that, at the time, Aimee wanted to be the kind of musician who was seen as "obscure, mysterious, you know, moody."

"And she deemed doing a show on MTV as low-hanging fruit. She was like, 'I'm not going to be seen riding coat-tails', kind of thing — that's how she perceived it," he explained.
"Once the show was hugely successful, I think she was kind of like, 'Well I can't now come on because I don't want to be seen even more so as jumping on the bandwagon.' And she dug her heels in and wanted to be relatively private and obscure," Jack said.
When asked if Aimee regretted not being on the show, Jack responded: "I've never had the conversation with her, we're not close at all. We don't have a great relationship, she'll be the first to tell you that, so it's no secret."
"I've never asked her outright, like, 'Do you regret it?' I think there must be a level of like, 'Hey, my life would have probably been different than what it is if I'd done that.' So I don't know, I think I would feel like I would have regretted it," he said.
