
Sharon Osbourne Held up by Kids While Breaking Down at Ozzy’s Funeral Procession
It was a heartbreaking sight for many as thousands of fans gathered to celebrate the late rock legend, his family barely holding it together during the cortège.
Ozzy Osbourne was finally laid to rest on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. The late music icon died the previous week, on Tuesday, July 22, after a year-long battle with Parkinson's disease and a slew of other health issues.

Ahead of a private ceremony, his family held a funeral procession at his hometown of Aston, Birmingham, to allow fans an opportunity to pay their respects. Videos of his family leading the procession have circulated online.

Many of them show his wife, Sharon Osbourne, surrounded by his children, including Jack, Kelly, Aimee, and Louis. In one clip, each of them carry a single purple flower as they approach a memorial in Ozzy's honor.

Sharon begins to break down while Kelly and Jack hold her up. Although it is a solemn moment, it is juxtaposed by cheers from the crowd celebrating Ozzy's life. Afterward, the family embraces, and Sharon raises Ozzy's signature peace sign before departing for the private service.

Fans shared their reactions. "God bless her for the strength she had. She lost her soulmate. Her son was a rock for her and the daughters. This is heartbreaking," one viewer commented under the video.
"The poor lady. She's lost so much," another said. "I hate seeing them all like this. We all grew up with them. We all grew up loving their family," a third added.
"Grief is the price we pay for love. It is worth it," someone else wrote.
