Valerie Bertinelli posted an Instagram carousel showing fans how she prefers to take a cold plunge—and the effect it's had on her lately.
The first photo in the thread is a selfie taken before the dip. The celebrity chef can be seen smiling at the camera, donning a red-hot bikini and holding a towel on her arm.
What follows is a clip showing Bertinelli diving into the pool from the opposite end and swimming toward the camera. She emerges from the water about halfway through, and appears visibly exhilarated.
The last photos show her post-plunge, smiling as she wraps herself in a towel. "My pool is 66° 🥶 Now, for a cold plunge that's relatively warm. (that's what they say whoever they are)," she began in her caption.
"But along with everything else I've been experimenting with, this has helped improve my mood, has reduced inflammation and it's easier than filling my bath up with ice cubes 😝," she concluded.
The TV star recently marked her 65th birthday with an Instagram reel full of clips from some of her best moments over the last year.
"In the last handful of years and I'm so grateful for the downs as much as I am for all of the ups I am blessed to experience. The light at the end of the tunnel is finally here. I can see it. I feel it," she captioned.
