Actor Ralph Fiennes posted two photos displaying his ripped body transformation X on April 12, 2025. He captioned the post with a fixed biceps emoji.

People flooded the comments section with one person writing, "Wow. Well done sir. We call that SWOLL!" Another said, "Very impressive." "This is wild at 62 would be really cool if you let us know the full regimen. Supplements, routine, etc [sic]." wrote a third individual. Someone else suggested, "I want you to refilm all your Bond scenes looking just like this [sic]."

Fiennes got in shape for his 2024 film "The Return" which was released in December. He plays the role of Ulysee, a toned and underfed Greek hero Odysseus.

Four months since the movie's premiere, the film producer has maintained a fit physique. He opened up about the grueling diet and fitness regime he underwent to get the results at a private screening and Q&A for the film on April 11, 2025, in London's Mayfair. Fiennes explained:

"Thanks to a wonderful trainer, Dan [Avasilcai] - we were side by side in getting me into the shape you see. But it was a lot of Dan's knowledge of diet and training. He was very, very precise!"

The Tony Award winner reportedly spent two and half months getting in shape before shooting the film. Fiennes's regime included avoiding certain types of foods and alcohol.

He had to consume more protein-rich meals, vegetables, and complex carbohydrates. The director also went to the gym daily lifting weights and running to shed the fat in his body.

This is not the first time he worked with fitness guru, Dan Avasilcai. The pair previously collaborated in 2021 for the movie "The King's Man."
