Patrick Dempsey Attends 2026 BAFTAs with Daughter Talula in Rare Red Carpet Outing

Patrick Dempsey had a special date for the 2026 BAFTA Film Awards — his daughter, Talula Fyfe Dempsey. The pair coordinated in classic black looks as they walked the red carpet together.

Patrick Dempsey shared a rare red carpet moment with his daughter on Sunday, February 22, when he stepped out for the 2026 EE BAFTA Film Awards.

Patrick proudly escorted his 24-year-old daughter, Talula Fyfe Dempsey, at the Royal Festival Hall in London, as they posed arm-in-arm for photos.

The pair wore coordinated looks, with Patrick opting for a classic black tuxedo over a crisp white dress shirt and a black bow tie. He completed the look with shiny black patent leather dress shoes and angular black sunglasses with tinted green lenses.

In a post shared by GQ Spain from the occasion, the publication described Patrick as "always a safe bet" on the red carpet. The outlet added that the actor — named “the sexiest man in the world” — wore “a tuxedo that very few can defend like him.”

Meanwhile, Talula matched her dad in a floor-length black gown featuring a ’90s-inspired neckline and bold side cutouts that dipped to her ribs. Her golden-highlighted brown hair was styled in a middle-parted blowout, framing her face, which closely resembles her mother, Jillian Fink.

Photos from the evening were shared on Instagram by Patrick’s wife, Jillian Dempsey, in a joint post with Patrick and Talula. The caption simply read, “BAFTA 2026.” Patrick also reshared a video from GQ Spain showing him and Talula arriving on the red carpet.

It was a family-filled weekend in London for the Dempseys, who also attended the Charles Finch x Chanel pre-BAFTA dinner the night before.

Jillian joined Patrick and Talula for that event, wearing a black floor-length gown with a thigh-high slit and gold hardware on the straps. Talula wore a black strapless minidress with a matching black collar and a sheer rhinestone-covered mesh jacket.

Talula is the eldest of Patrick and Jillian's three children. The couple, who married in 1999, also share twin sons, Sullivan and Darby Dempsey, 19.

Now 24, Talula is a pastry chef and founder of Talula’s Kitchen, which launched in 2023 as “a bespoke dessert catering and specialty pastry business, offering cookies, tartlets, seasonal bundt cakes, and more,” according to the company’s website.

What began as a childhood passion later evolved into a professional pursuit, leading her to earn multiple pastry certifications at Le Cordon Bleu Paris and Le Cordon Bleu London. She later honed her skills as part of the pastry team at Michelin-starred Gucci Osteria in Beverly Hills

In 2025, she introduced a small-batch signature Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix before returning to London to complete further studies in plant-based cuisine and pâtisserie.

As his children have grown older — and stepped into careers of their own — Patrick has spoken about the challenges of parenting young adults.

“You need to be around, but they don’t want you around because they’re fighting for their independence, which they should,” he told People in November 2023 after being crowned the publication's 2023 Sexiest Man Alive.

“They need to find out how they interact in the world, they need to learn those boundaries, they need to make mistakes. And you need to be there for them and allow them to learn from that.”

At this year’s BAFTAs, Patrick and Talula offered a simple reminder that even on one of film’s biggest nights, it can still be a family affair.
