Patrick Dempsey's Son Shows Off a Fresh Look – and Fans See the Resemblance

Jillian Dempsey just shared a new batch of photos of her son, and people are noticing more than just the haircut. With his latest look, fans say he's looking more like his dad, Patrick Dempsey.

Jillian Dempsey just gave Instagram a closer look at one of her twin sons, and fans were quick to point out something familiar: he’s starting to look a lot like his dad, Patrick Dempsey.

In a post shared to Instagram, Jillian dropped a casual photo carousel of her son, captioned simply: “PHOTO DUMP of @darby.g.dempsey.”

The series shows Darby in a mix of moments — from a styled shoot to time outdoors. “We started off with fluffy hair, then we decided to chop into it ✂️ For the rest of the images I used my Roadie Hair Pomade,” she wrote, referencing her own hair product line.

She also added a quick styling tip: “A Tip: Warm up the Roadie Pomade in your palms and fingertips for the perfect style and texture.”

Fans took to the comments right away, not just to compliment Darby’s style, but to point out the strong family resemblance.

“Oh my gosh he is the spitting image of a young Patrick xx,” one person wrote. Another added, “Very handsome young man, looks like his dad!” One fan noted, “Very handsome young man. Darby is one of Patrick and Jillian's twin sons, born on February 1, 2007, in Los Angeles. He and his twin brother, Sullivan, are fraternal, and even as infants, they had very different looks.

According to Patrick, Darby was born with blond hair, while Sullivan had “Sid Vicious black, punk-rock hair.”

Their personalities were different, too. Darby was described as “reserved and quiet,” while Sullivan was more expressive and funny.

Patrick once joked about raising twin boys, telling "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" that parenting them was like living in a slapstick routine: “You cannot turn your back [because] there's always an injury, there's always something going on.”

The twins graduated from high school this past spring. In a post shared on May 31, Patrick wrote, “Graduation!! So proud of you boys and cannot wait to see where the next chapter of your lives will take you!”

Darby also marked the occasion on his own Instagram account, writing, “Couldn’t have asked for a better senior year.”

Now, with high school behind him and more glimpses showing up on social media, fans are starting to see more of Darby — and for many, it’s a reminder of a younger Patrick Dempsey, just with a modern twist.
