Sydney Sweeney Stuns in Silver Gown at Variety Event in Los Angeles

The "Anyone But You" star had social media abuzz with her risqué look at the high-profile affair, where she was among several trailblazers being honored by Variety.

Sydney Sweeney stepped out at Variety's 2025 Power of Women on Wednesday evening, October 29. The event, presented by Lifetime, was held at the Beverly Hills Hotel, where the "Euphoria" alum came dressed to impress.

Sweeney donned a stunning silver metallic gown that hugged her petite frame. The dress featured a draped, metallic fabric with subtle pleating along the waist and hips, creating a sculpted silhouette.

It had a modest boat neckline, elbow-length sleeves, and a gathered back detail with visible ruching. She completed the look with a sleek blonde bob styled with a soft curl at the ends and paired the outfit with simple drop earrings and minimal makeup, emphasizing her natural features.

The actress turned heads at the prestigious affair, stopping for photos as she arrived on the red carpet. She also crossed paths with fellow stars, including Jamie Lee Curtis and Sharon Stone, and was photographed sharing warm moments with industry giants.

Sweeney was one of the honorees celebrated at the event, which Variety announced this past September. Other celebrities honored included Curtis, Nicole Scherzinger, Wanda Sykes and Kate Hudson.

Ahead of the ceremony, Sweeney spoke with the publication on the red carpet and opened up about wrapping filming for season three of "Euphoria," revealing that she's set to shoot her final scenes on Thursday, October 30, and Sunday, November 2.

"It's gonna be a really bittersweet moment," Sweeney shared. "I'm kind of terrified for how emotional it's gonna be. It's been such a journey. It's been my entire twenties. They've been my family and friends for so long. I've been forever grateful for all of them."

In another conversation with the outlet earlier this week, Sweeney, now 28, said of her castmates, "I've grown up with them. I was 20 when I did the pilot, so being able to see a lot of the same people, it feels very comforting."

Her co-star, Jacob Elordi, also shared his experience filming what HBO announced would be the show's final season. "It was incredible, man," Elordi said. "It was incredibly liberating. I got to play something so sort of far out from what I've done before."

The "Frankenstein" star also insisted he doesn't know exactly what happens in the third season, explaining, "Everybody shoots at different storylines." Sweeney corroborated, saying, "I feel like I'm going to get to watch it with everyone else."

Her appearance at the Power of Women event comes after she attended Game Four of the 2025 World Series between the Toronto Blue Jays and the Los Angeles Dodgers at Dodger Stadium on Tuesday, October 28.

Alongside her friend, Kaylee McGregor, the actress was also joined by former boxer Christy Martin, whom she portrays in the upcoming biopic "Christy." The film is set for theatrical release this November.

In the meantime, Sweeney will soon begin prepping to portray yet another icon, Kim Novak, in the upcoming biopic, "Scandalous." Directed by Colman Domingo, the film will retell Novak's interracial romance with Sammy Davis Jr.

"I'm going to meet with her," Sweeney shared. "I'm going to work with some movement coaches and dialect coaches, watch and study all of her films. I'm really excited."
