Prince William Makes Rare Remark About Brother Amid Rift
The Prince of Wales was sharing his thoughts about his son's eventual role as King of England when he mentioned his younger brother, Prince Harry. His remarks come shortly after Harry's visit to the U.K.
Prince William has made a rare comment about his brother, Prince Harry, amid their ongoing estrangement. The Prince of Wales was reflecting on his son Prince George's fate as heir to the throne when he mentioned his sibling.

"There are lots of things to think about with that," William told Eugene Levy during the October 3 episode of "The Reluctant Traveler," a new Apple TV+ travel series hosted by the "Schitt's Creek" alum.
"But obviously, I want to create a world in which my son is proud of what we do, a world and a job that actually does impact people's lives for the better," he continued. "That is caveated with, I hope we don't go back to some of the practices in the past, that Harry and I had to grow up in."

He added, "And I'll do everything I can to make sure we don't regress in that situation." Indeed, William has said he plans to embrace change as King and reassess long-standing traditions in the British monarchy.
"That's the bit that excites me, is the idea of being able to bring some change. Not overly radical change, but changes that I think that need to happen," he said. William's remarks came after Harry's planned visit to the U.K. in September.
During the visit, the Duke of Sussex reunited with his father, King Charles III, for the first time in nearly two years. Harry had last met with His Majesty in February 2024, just days after he announced he was being treated for an undisclosed form of cancer.
