Miley Cyrus Reveals What She Kept from Her Relationship with Liam Hemsworth
Miley Cyrus is opening the closet of her past—literally. The singer is revisiting her personal fashion archive, holding onto dresses, letters, and other keepsakes that mark the highs and lows of her decade-long relationship with Liam Hemsworth.
Miley Cyrus is taking a reflective stroll down memory lane, revisiting moments from her past through the pieces she has carefully preserved from her decade-long relationship with Liam Hemsworth. Among her keepsakes are special outfits tied to key milestones.
"I literally have a dress that I had on when I met my ex-husband, and then I have my dress that I wore on our first date," Miley told Vogue in a September 24, 2025 interview. She also holds onto letters and other mementos that capture what she describes as the "beautiful moments" of her life.
Now 32, Cyrus has been meticulously sorting and organizing these reminders, acknowledging that the items carry both personal and public significance. "It's a little bit tough to decide what piece I want to share, and what I would ever allow to be seen," she admitted, highlighting the delicate balance between privacy and transparency.
Cyrus and Hemsworth, 35, began dating in 2010 after meeting on the set of "The Last Song." Their relationship saw ups and downs, culminating in a wedding in 2018 following the tragic loss of their Malibu home to wildfire. However, the marriage lasted just eight months before Hemsworth filed for divorce, which was finalized in early 2020.
Reflecting on that difficult period, Cyrus shared during a preview of her album "Something Beautiful," "I guess for me, when my house burned down, a lot of my relationships also burned down, and that again just led me to such magic and to have so much gratitude."
