Wedding rumors surrounding Keanu Reeves and Alexandra Grant made the rounds this week, but the artist has stepped in to set the record straight. Grant took to Instagram to clarify the speculation with a candid photo and a clear message.

Alexandra Grant has made it clear that she and her longtime boyfriend Keanu Reeves are not married.

The 52-year-old artist addressed the rumors directly on Instagram Wednesday, September 24, 2025, after speculation began circulating online about a secret wedding.

She shared a photo of herself kissing Reeves on the steps of the East Portal at Roden Crater in Flagstaff, Arizona, and explained the real context behind the image.

"This is a real photo. Not an engagement photo or an AI wedding announcement... simply a kiss! (Albeit maybe the moment right before or after it... given the slightly goofy expressions on our faces!)," Grant wrote. "We're at Roden Crater, and Keanu and Gard had just finished interviewing James Turrell for Visionaries."

Grant went on to dismiss the false reports, thanking fans for their messages while clarifying that she and the 61-year-old actor have not exchanged vows.

"I'm sharing it here to say thank you to everyone for the congratulations on our wedding," she continued. "Except we didn’t get married. Good news is much needed these days, but it's still fake news, so be careful out there! So, here's a bit of real happiness!"

The couple, who have been together for several years, have largely kept their relationship private, though they have made occasional public appearances.

Reeves' representative also weighed in on the speculation a day earlier, confirming to PEOPLE on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, that the reports were unfounded. "It is not true," the rep said. "They are not married."

The couple first made their debut as a couple in 2019, when they were spotted holding hands at the LACMA Art + Film Gala presented by Gucci in Los Angeles.
