Taylor Swift Reveals the ‘Insane Question’ She Asked Travis Kelce on Their First Date

The "Blank Space" singer appeared for the first time on her partner's podcast with his brother and shared some details about the early days of their romance.

Taylor Swift joined her boyfriend Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce's on their "New Heights" podcast in an episode that premiered Wednesday, August 13. The artist sat alongside her partner during the segment while Jason co-hosted from another location.

During the interview, Taylor shared how she accidentally — and hilariously — revealed her limited knowledge of football during her first date with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end.

"On our first date, I legitimately asked him what it was like when the Chiefs played the Eagles in the Super Bowl and he looked across the field, across the line of scrimmage, and saw his brother standing on the other — like five feet in front of him on the field," Taylor recounted.

"And he was like — he didn't even look at me — like, I now know what an insane question that was," the singer admitted. "He was like, 'Actually, I'm on the offense uh and my brother's on the offense and I'm only on the field at the same time as the defense.'"

Travis went on to sweetly explain to her how the game worked. "I thought everyone was on there at the same time," Taylor said. She went on to describe Travis as a "human exclamation point," not just in her life, but in the lives of others.

"You know, he's like when you take a picture on your phone and you push the 'Enhance Color' button, that's like what you do to everyone's life" she told her beau. The pair have been privately dating since July 2023, but only went Instagram official in July of this year.
