Singer Coco Jones and basketball player Donovan Mitchell both announced their engagement on their respective Instagram accounts on July 11, 2025, during their vacation.

Jones took to her page and shared an image of the lovebirds kissing during the sunset, with no caption to the post. She had her left hand resting on the sports star's chest, showing off her engagement ring.

Mitchell posted the same photo on his account, also without a caption, but added a clip of the proposal in the next slide. It showed an aerial view of the duo at a vacation spot as they walked outdoors near the swimming pool before the shooting guard dropped on one knee to pop the question.

Though the newly engaged couple haven't shared details about the ring, an expert has reportedly estimated that it's a five-carat cushion-cut diamond. It's worth around $360,000. In the wake of the exciting news, Jones and Mitchell haven't publicly spoken about the next chapter in their lives.

However, their representatives issued a statement that read, "After an amazing season and a sold-out tour, Donovan Mitchell and Coco Jones took a moment to recharge on vacation, which turned it into a beautiful engagement."
