The Duchess of Wales looked radiant as she attended the royal banquet in honor of the French state visit, with her husband, Prince William, at her side.

As usual, the Duchess dressed impeccably for the occasion. She looked stunning in a flowing, deep red gown with cape-like sleeves, paired with her signature sash and several royal medals. She accessorized with drop earrings, a diamond bracelet, and carried a red clutch.

But what truly completed her look was her royal headpiece, known as Queen Mary's Lover's Knot Tiara. The last time Princess Kate wore a tiara was December 2023 when she donned the same headpiece for the annual Diplomatic Reception at Buckingham Palace.

Her tiara hiatus has been partially attributed to her stepping away from the spotlight in 2024 as she underwent cancer treatment. Much to the joy of many, she announced that she had gone into remission in January of this year.

Since then, she has been slowly returning to her royal duties, although she was notably absent from the Royal Ascot last month. The Princess was believed to be among the royal family members expected to attend according to an incorrect published guest list.
However, this was clarified to be a mistake due to miscommunication behind the scenes as she was not originally scheduled to attend. Despite this, it was reported that Kate was disappointed she couldn't join the Royal Ascot.
Those close to her shared that she is still working toward finding a balance when it comes to public outings following her cancer treatment.
