Beyoncé Halts Concert Briefly after Prop Tilts Midair
Beyoncé paused her Houston performance mid-song on Saturday night after a midair stage prop began to tilt unexpectedly, prompting swift safety action and a wave of support from fans.
During the 23rd stop of Beyoncé's "Cowboy Carter tour," the 43-year-old singer was performing atop a suspended red Cadillac when the vehicle began to lean to one side. Beyoncé, seated in the car and holding a flag pole for support, quickly noticed the shift.

"Stop! Stop, stop, stop stop," she said into the mic, halting her performance of the ballad "16 Carriages" as surprised gasps filled the stadium.
Stage crew immediately responded by carefully lowering the car back to the ground. The audience erupted in applause as Beyoncé, smiling and waving, safely stepped off the platform.
Later in the show, she reassured the crowd with a lighthearted remark: "If ever I fall, I know y'all will catch me. [sic]"
Parkwood Entertainment, Beyoncé's production company, confirmed in a statement that a "technical mishap" had caused the prop to tilt. "She was quickly lowered and no one was injured. The show continued without incident," the company said.
The show in her hometown of Houston is part of her 32-date "Cowboy Carter" stadium tour, which is scheduled to wrap in Las Vegas next month. Known for its blend of country flair, dynamic visuals, and appearances by Beyoncé and Jay-Z's daughters, Blue Ivy and Rumi, the tour has drawn critical acclaim and shattered venue records in both the US and Europe.
