Blake Lively Shared a Sweet Moment With Ryan Reynolds
On May 27, 2026, the actress, 38, posted an outdoor selfie with Reynolds, 49, as the couple sat together on patio furniture. In the photo, the actor wore a white tank top while holding a plate of homemade cookies and raspberries.
Across the snap, Lively wrote, "delicious @vancityreynolds," tagging her husband. The actress then followed the selfie with closer looks at the cookies before shifting attention to Reynolds' bare arms.

The Instagram Stories also came after developments in Lively's legal case involving her "It Ends with Us" co-star Justin Baldoni.
The playful sequence leaned into the joke, with Lively using different songs to match the mood. The first image was set to Ohio Express' 1968 track "Yummy Yummy Yummy," while one of the close-ups of Reynolds' arms featured Justin Bieber's "Yummy."

The Posts Followed Her Met Gala Return
Lively's lighthearted update came weeks after she returned to the Met Gala on May 4, 2026. This year's theme was "Costume Art," and the actress attended as an invited guest of Vogue.
For the event, she walked the Metropolitan Museum of Art's famous steps in an archival Atelier Versace gown from spring 2006, pairing the look with custom Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.

An insider said the actress appeared "strong, confident, fearless" on the red carpet, adding that she smiled and looked comfortable throughout the evening.
Inside the event, Lively was seated at Anna Wintour's table. Her appearance marked her first Met Gala since 2022, when she served as a co-chair alongside Reynolds.

Lively Has Also Faced an Ongoing Legal Battle
The Instagram Stories also came after developments in Lively's legal case involving her "It Ends with Us" co-star Justin Baldoni. In April, a federal judge dismissed most of the claims in Lively's lawsuit against Baldoni, including several harassment and defamation allegations.

Three claims remained: breach of contract, retaliation, and aiding and abetting in retaliation. Those claims were set to proceed to a civil trial in New York on May 18.

Lively's legal team maintained that the case remained focused on alleged retaliation and efforts to damage her reputation and that the sexual harassment claims were dropped "not because the defendants did nothing wrong" but because of a technicality.
Baldoni has denied the allegations, and his legal team said the remaining case had been significantly narrowed. A judge previously dismissed Baldoni's $400 million counter-lawsuit against Lively, which included allegations of civil extortion, defamation, and invasion of privacy.

For now, Blake Lively's latest public update struck a much lighter tone. With cookies, raspberries, and a cheeky tribute to Reynolds, the actress offered fans a sunny glimpse of the couple's life away from the red carpet and courtroom headlines.
