Meghan Markle Celebrates Princess Lilibet’s Birthday in New Post
The Duchess of Sussex took to Instagram to share a touching tribute in honor of her youngest child's birthday. The post includes never-before-seen photos of the little one.
Princess Lilibet is turning four and her mother, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, couldn't be happier. The former actress celebrated her daughter's birthday with a sweet message alongside black-and-white photos of the pair.
In the first image, Meghan looks down lovingly at her child—whose face is partially covered—cuddling her as they enjoy the boat ride.
The second takes viewers back in time, as Meghan and Princess Lilibet are pictured in a similar position, except it's shortly after the now-four-year-old was born.
"Happy birthday to our beautiful girl," Meghan wrote. "Four years ago today she came into our lives - and each day is brighter and better because of it. Thanks to all of those sending love and celebrating her special day!"
The post comes just a week after the royal shared a videomontage that showed her and the young princess harvesting honey. Set to The Archies' "Sugar, Sugar," the clip shows the pair wearing beekeeping suits as they head to an apiary.
"Look at all of that fresh honeycomb! Harvesting honey with my little honey. (Like mother, like daughter; she's even wearing my gloves) 🐝 🍯," Meghan captioned the post.
