Princess Catherine Wears Elegant Blue Dress at Official Ceremony in Scotland with Prince William

Princess Catherine's recent appearance was for the naming ceremony of HMS Glasgow, where she delivered a speech as the Royal Navy ship's official sponsor.

Kate Middleton and Prince William visited Scotland on May 22, 2025, to attend the naming ceremony of HMS Glasgow, a next-generation anti-submarine warship in the Royal Navy's fleet.

As the official sponsor of the ship, Princess Catherine delivered a traditional naming speech during the ceremony, stating, "I have the pleasure to name this ship, HMS Glasgow. May God bless her and all who sail on her." She then activated the ceremonial release of a bottle of whisky, which shattered against the ship's hull.

In tribute to the Royal Navy, the Princess wore a tailored, nautical navy blue dress, a subtle yet striking nod to the maritime occasion. Fans couldn't help but praise the royals not just for their work, but for their appearance.

Princess Catherine is officially back to resuming royal duties and has been seen attending several commissioned events. She had been undergoing chemotherapy throughout 2024 following a health diagnosis that led to a temporary withdrawal from public duties.
