Ben Rathbun, '90 Day Fiancé' Alum, Dies at 55

The reality TV star had a difficult battle with stage 4 stomach cancer prior to his passing. His wife, Mahogany Roca, remained by his side through it all.

Ben Rathbun, a former cast member of "90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days," has died at the age of 55 following a battle with stage 4 stomach cancer. He passed away at his home in Greencastle, Indiana, surrounded by loved ones.

Rathbun was diagnosed in December 2024 and had largely stepped away from the public eye since appearing on Season 5 of the reality series. During the show, he was introduced to viewers as a single father of four pursuing a relationship with 22-year-old Mahogany Roca, whom he met online.

Despite initial skepticism from fans and challenges on the show, the couple appeared to have married after filming. Roca remained by Rathbun's side throughout his illness and confirmed his passing through emotional tributes shared on social media.

"I love you more than anyone, I love you forever and ever and ever. I’m crying writing this but I still don’t know how tell internet about his privacy life and my privacy life, [sic]" she wrote in one post.

In another heartfelt message, she shared, "[...] when this happened, I slept in hospitals with you, I tried to give you my love even though it made me helpless, I miss you so much my love. I miss you like the sky and the stars. Ben was the best father, friend, husband, son, and child of God."

Since her Instagram posts went live, many fans have shared their condolences with the former reality TV star, offering words of support and sympathy as she mourns the loss of her husband.
