Mariska Hargitay and Son August Step Out in Rare Outing
The "Law & Order: SVU" alum stepped out with her eldest son in a rare public appearance in New York City. The outing comes just before the actress remembered her mom on Mother's Day.
Mariska Hargitay attended Game 3 the New York Knicks playoff series against the Boston Celtics with her son, August Miklos Hermann, 18, on Saturday, May 10, 2025.

The match took place at Madison Square Garden in the Big Apple. August and Mariska were seen arriving to watch the game and beamed as they posed for photos.
August sported a gray zip-up jacket layered over a white T-shirt, paired with military green cargo pants and Timberland boots. Beside him, his mother wore blue high-waist jeans with black floral embroidery, secured with a thin black belt.

She paired them with a plain black T-shirt—tucked in—a New York Knicks jacket draped over her shoulders, and silver pumps. The mom of three also accessorized with a heart-shaped pendant necklace and dark sunglasses.

After her recent outing with August, the actress celebrated Mother's Day on Sunday with a tribute to her late mother, Jayne Mansfield, who died in 1967. Jayne was an actress and a Playboy Playmate in the 1950s and '60s.
Alongside a black-and-white photo of her, Mariska wrote, "💖 Happy Mother's Day to #MyMomJayne. I carry your strength, your determination, and your love with me every day."
