Mariah Carey’s Twins, Moroccan and Monroe, Celebrate 14th Birthday with Dad

The 14-year-olds felt they were “too cool” for a birthday party and opted for a different experience instead. Their father, Nick Cannon, chaperoned the evening.

Just hours ago, the father of 12 shared a video on Instagram documenting how his now-14-year-old firstborns, Moroccan and Monroe Cannon, celebrated their birthday with their friends.

“Happy Birthday to my Firstborns! 14 years old!!! Somebody slow this thing down!!! Please!!! They didn’t even want a birthday party!! They said they are too cool for that! LOL,” he wrote in the caption.

The clip begins with Nick announcing that it’s a “very special occasion,” as his oldest children were turning 14. “When I was 14, this was not my idea of birthday fun,” he admitted. “What happened to amusement parks and house parties?”

Instead of a typical birthday party, the twins visited The Basement for a live escape room experience—they had a blast. “Scary and mindblowing to say the least but Roc & Roe and their friends loved it!” he recalled.

In the montage, Nick includes several videos from the escape room, featuring teens screaming in horror and exhilaration. The “Wild n’ Out” host had booked the entire place for the night, and tagged along as a chaperone.

At one point during the evening, the group gathered to sing happy birthday to Moroccan and Monroe. On his Instagram page, Moroccan also posted a carousel depicting the night’s events and tagged his friends.
