Beyoncé Shares Video of Her Kids Featuring Her Rarely Seen Son
Beyoncé kicked off her Cowboy Carter tour on Monday night, April 28, in Los Angeles, with electrifying performances. The singer had her daughters join her onstage, while her son appeared onscreen.
The first night of Beyoncé’s tour took place at SoFi Stadium and was full of sweet moments where the industry heavy-hitter’s kids stole the spotlight.
She opened with the first track, “American Requiem,” from her 2024 album “Cowboy Carter.” At the beginning of the performance, rare home footage of her children appeared on a large screen.
The first clip showed Beyoncé laughing as she held her twins, Sir and Rumi Carter, in both arms. The next clip showed Rumi and Sir as babies, adorably collapsing onto each other as they played.
The last one included a younger Blue Ivy as they all enjoyed a dip in a pool as a family. The short video montage was a rare and intimate glimpse into the Carters’ home life.
It’s also one of the few moments that fans got to glimpse the lesser-seen Carter sibling, Sir. That night, his sisters shared the stage with their mother, much to the excitement of the audience.
Blue Ivy made her debut in the 2023 Renaissance tour, but Rumi’s appearance at SoFi Stadium marked her first. The seven-year-old stayed close to her mother during her performance.
She beamed and waved excitedly at the cheering crowd, before turning and embracing Beyoncé, causing her to pause mid-song and return the gesture. It was heartwarming to see.
