It's being reported that the late actor's home will likely sell following the settlement of his estate. Property records obtained by Daily Mail estimate the compound could sell for between $3.8 and $4 million.

Still, that number can go up to $5 million once it goes on sale. An agent at Coldwell Banker shared, "The home is big, stylish and has great bones so there will be interest. Even though two people passed away in the house, there will still be plenty of offers."

The agent also explained that properties linked to celebrities tend to go up in price by virtue of that association. The same happens if those properties are bought in the spring or summer.

Hackman and his wife, Betsy Arakawa, were discovered dead in late February this year, and the investigation into their deaths has been extensive and highly publicized.

It was determined that Hackman died of severe heart disease and advanced Alzheimer's, while Arakawa succumbed to hantavirus pulmonary pulmonary syndrome.

As authorities investigated further, they believed that Hackman and Arakawa died a week apart, with Arakawa passing away first.

They suggested that Hackman's Alzheimer's may have prevented him from realizing his wife died. Prior to her death, Arakawa had tried reaching Cloudberry Health—a concierge medical practice—for treatment but was ultimately never able to receive it.

Tragically, one of the couple's three dogs died of starvation and dehydration. The pup had been crated while recovering from surgery.

In light of the heartbreaking circumstances surrounding their deaths, the Santa Fe Police Department revealed handwritten notes that the lovebirds would often leave for each other.
