Top Nominees of the Night
Kendrick Lamar led all nominees with nine nominations, cementing his position as one of the most influential artists of his generation. Lady Gaga, Cirkut, and Jack Antonoff followed closely with seven nominations each.
Bad Bunny, Leon Thomas, and Sabrina Carpenter each earned six nominations. Other notable nominees included SZA, Olivia Dean, Doechii, Tyler, The Creator, and Justin Bieber, reflecting a diverse and competitive field across categories.
Album, Record, and Song of the Year Winners
Album of the Year went to Bad Bunny for "DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS." The album beat out releases from Justin Bieber, Sabrina Carpenter, Clipse, Pusha T and Malice, Lady Gaga, Kendrick Lamar, Leon Thomas, and Tyler, The Creator.
Record of the Year was awarded to "Luther" by Kendrick Lamar featuring SZA. The track faced strong competition from Bad Bunny’s "DtMF," Sabrina Carpenter’s "Manchild," Doechii’s "Anxiety," Billie Eilish’s "WILDFLOWER," Lady Gaga’s "Abracadabra," Chappell Roan’s "The Subway," and "APT." by ROSE and Bruno Mars.
Song of the Year went to Billie Eilish for "WILDFLOWER," solidifying her songwriting impact. The category also included "Luther," "Manchild," "Golden" from "KPop Demon Hunters," "DtMF," "APT.," and "Abracadabra."
Major Pop and Dance Category Winners
Olivia Dean took home Best New Artist, while Cirkut won Producer of the Year and Amy Allen claimed Songwriter of the Year.
Best Pop Solo Performance went to "Messy" by Lola Young. Best Pop Duo or Group Performance was awarded to "Defying Gravity" by Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande. Lady Gaga won Best Pop Vocal Album for "MAYHEM" and Best Dance Pop Recording for "Abracadabra."
In the dance categories, Tame Impala won Best Dance or Electronic Recording for "End of Summer," while FKA twigs earned Best Dance or Electronic Album for "EUSEXUA."
Hip-Hop, R&B, and Country Highlights
Kehlani dominated the R&B categories, winning Best R&B Performance and Best R&B Song for "Folded." Leon Thomas earned Best R&B Album for "MUTT."
Kendrick Lamar continued his strong showing with wins for Best Melodic Rap Performance for "Luther," Best Rap Song for "tv off," and Best Rap Album for "GNX."
Best Music Video went to "Anxiety" by Doechii. Best Song Written for Visual Media was awarded to "Golden" from "KPop Demon Hunters."
In country music, Shaboozey and Jelly Roll won Best Country Duo or Group Performance for "Amen." Jelly Roll also took home Best Contemporary Country Album for "Beautifully Broken."
