The father of Keith Urban's guitarist, Maggie Baugh, has addressed rumors linking his daughter to the country star following his split from Nicole Kidman.

Speaking to the Daily Mail on Thursday, Chuck Baugh said he was unaware of any romantic connection between the two.
Baugh told the outlet that he was not aware of any romantic connection between his daughter and Urban, noting that the interaction in question looked more like a professional exchange between musicians than anything personal. He added that he had no definitive knowledge either way.
Reps for Urban have not responded to requests for comment on Baugh's remarks. The statement comes days after it was confirmed that Urban and Kidman had separated after nearly 20 years of marriage.
Sources said the actress had hoped to save the relationship, while others noted that the pair had been living apart since the beginning of the summer.
