News of Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s separation broke just three months after their 19th wedding anniversary. Sources close to the pair say they had already been living apart for some time.

A source told People that it had not been a secret that Kidman, 58, and Urban, 57, had been living apart for some time. The insider added that those close to the couple considered the separation almost inevitable.
News of the separation emerged on Sept. 29, only three months after the pair marked their 19th wedding anniversary. The two, who tied the knot in 2006, are proud parents to two daughters, Sunday Rose, who has ventured into modelling and Faith Margaret, 14.
The couple was last seen publicly in June at the FIFA Club World Cup in Nashville, where Los Angeles Football Club faced Esperance de Tunis.
Fans reacted with a mix of sadness and perspective. One wrote, "Really sad to hear this. They always looked so in love." Another urged the pair to "take a break" and "figure it out," adding, "We all need you to succeed!" Others noted the life they built together, with one comment reading, "That was a nice run and now it's over, doesn't mean it was a failure. They got two beautiful kids out of it."
