Angelina Jolie FaceTimes with Daughter Zahara While Filming ‘Anxious People’
The proud mom of six, who was also joined by one of her sons on set, took a moment to show her daughter the scenery of her new star-studded comedy. The film is an adaptation of a 2019 novel.
Angelina Jolie, 50, was spotted on the set of the upcoming movie, "Anxious People," on Sunday night, September 28. The actress was photographed beaming as she FaceTimed with her daughter, Zahara, 20, in between takes and while in costume.
She was also joined by her son, Maddox Jolie-Pitt, 24, and was seen introducing Zahara to her colleagues before continuing with filming. Jolie was shooting arrest scenes that evening alongside her co-stars Jessica Gunning, Jason Segel, Carol Kane, and Stephanie Allynne.
Per Deadline, the synopsis is as follows: "On the day before Christmas Eve, investment banker Zara begrudgingly finds herself mingling with a group of strangers at an open house. When a reluctant bank robber, Grace, inadvertently takes the group hostage, chaos and oversharing ensues, secrets are revealed, and literally nothing goes according to plan."
Jolie takes on the role of Zara, while "Sex Education" alum Aimee Lou Wood plays Grace. "Anxious People" is based on Fredrik Backman's 2019 novel of the same name. It was previously adapted into a mini Netflix series released in 2021.
