Jenna Ortega Shines on the Emmys Red Carpet in a Daring Bejeweled Top

The "Wednesday" star dominated the spotlight at the annual ceremony, breaking away from her character's signature gothic style. The actress was also among award presenters, alongside one of her "Wednesday" co-stars.

Jenna Ortega attended the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday evening, September 14. The prestigious affair took place at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles, where the 22-year-old actress made a daring fashion statement.

Ortega turned heads in a showstopping Givenchy top from the brand's Fall Winter 2025 collection — a bold, sculptural piece encrusted with oversized gemstones, crystals, pearls, and metallic accents in a variety of cuts and colors.

The jeweled design cascaded down her torso like wearable art, leaving sheer skin visible underneath. She paired the dramatic top with a minimalist black floor-length skirt featuring a thigh-high slit and black strappy platform sandals with red soles.

Her makeup amplified the edgy glamour, featuring bleached eyebrows, a smoky eye, and a maroon matte lip, while her hair was styled in a loose updo with face-framing tendrils. She finished the look with minimal jewelry, including delicate rings and a bracelet.

After walking the red carpet, Ortega later joined her onscreen mother, Catherine Zeta-Jones, onstage to present the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series award to Katherine LaNasa for her role in "The Pitt."

Zeta-Jones and Ortega play mother-daughter duo Morticia and Wednesday in Netflix's "Wednesday." The first part of the show's second season debuted on August 6, followed by the second part on September 3.
