Emily Blunt attended the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival to premiere the sports biopic, "The Smashing Machine," chronicling the life of boxing legend Mark Kerr. The prestigious event was held at the Princess of Wales Theatre in Ontario, Canada.

Blunt stepped onto the red carpet in a daring yet elegant ensemble. Her look featured a black bustier-style halter top with sheer lace paneling across the torso. The structured piece was paired with high-waisted, wide-leg pinstripe trousers.

From the side, the outfit revealed delicate crisscross straps along the back, giving the look an edgy twist. Blunt kept her accessories minimal but striking, opting for a sparkling diamond statement ear cuff that framed her face.

The actress was also accompanied by her husband, actor and filmmaker John Krasinski. The "Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan" alum looked sharp in a tailored, light gray three-piece suit, paired with a crisp white shirt, a black tie, and polished black dress shoes.

Blunt also posed alongside her co-star Dwayne Johnson and director Benny Safdie, who wrote and directed "The Smashing Machine." In the film, she plays Dawn Staples, Kerr's ex-wife, opposite Johnson, who portrays the former wrestler.

The riveting docudrama had its major debut at the Venice Film Festival on Monday, September 1. At the end of the screening, the movie — slated for release on October 3 — received a 15-minute standing ovation that moved Johnson to tears.
