The 76-year-old regularly shares updates about his animals on social media. In 2023, actor Danny DeVito told The Sunday Times that the animals at Schwarzenegger’s home were free to roam throughout the property.
A video posted to Instagram in 2024 shows Schwarzenegger eating at his dining table while interacting with a baby donkey. He speaks to the animal and feeds it from his plate. A second donkey joins and also receives food.
The video has attracted nearly one million likes and thousands of comments. Some users praised the actor’s relationship with his animals. One wrote, "Such a wonderful side of him I knew nothing about… you go Arnold!!" Another added, "We need more people like you." A third comment read, "I have a new respect for him."
Schwarzenegger continues to share photos and videos of his animals with his online followers.
