Nicole Kidman Flaunts Her Natural Curls in Summer Recap

The "Babygirl" actress let loose this summer as she enjoyed the season's final stretch alongside her loved ones. Her recap comes about a month after she reportedly applied for a residency permit in Europe.

Nicole Kidman gave fans a peek into how she spent her summer this year in a nostalgic Instagram carousel on Tuesday, August 19, where the decorated actress showed off her natural, curly blonde locks.

The first slide of the thread is a clip of her diving into clear turquoise waters from a yacht in a black bathing suit. The second slide is a blurry still of her enjoying the dip alongside her loved ones.

In the third image, Nicole's golden tresses are on full display as she embraces her 17-year-old daughter, Sunday, during sunset.

The following photos show her spending quality time with Sunday as well as her younger daughter, 14-year-old Faith, her sister Antonia, and Antonia's daughter, Lucia.

The group attended an Olivia Rodrigo concert together and even got to see Billie Eilish perform. They also celebrated Sunday's birthday. The teen turned 17 on July 7 and Nicole included a photo of her birthday cake.

The 58-year-old playfully concluded the carousel with a "Back to School" graphic. "Summer memories ❤️ Now back to school ✨," she captioned her post. The carousel comes amid reports that she applied for a residency permit in Portugal without her husband, Keith Urban.

According to Portuguese news outlet SIC Notícias, Nicole submitted her paperwork to the country's Agency for Integration, Migration and Asylum toward the end of last month. It's believed that Keith's name didn't appear in the documents due to his current tour schedule.

"Keith was unable to be in Portugal for this appointment as he is currently on tour in the US and it is mandatory for applicants to be physically present in order to apply for the visa," a source told the NY Post. The source added that the singer is expected to apply at a later date.
