Liev Schreiber and Naomi Watts Send Their Son off to College
The former couple were a united front as they sent their son off to further his studies, but not without helping him set up his new home away from home first.

Liev Schreiber and Naomi Watts are helping their son, Sasha Schreiber, begin a new chapter. The 18-year-old, who graduated high school in June, is off to pursue his college education at the University of Southern California, and his parents couldn't be more proud.

On Sunday, August 17, his father shared a sweet post about how much he'll miss his son when he's away. "Starting to feel the pull," Liev wrote. "Gonna miss my ride or die. Having said that, USC is gonna get one of the deepest, kindest, bravest and most beautiful boys I have ever known."

Not long after, the actor and his ex-wife, along with their son, traveled to Los Angeles to help the teen set up his dorm. On Tuesday, August 19, Naomi posted a family photo on her Instagram Stories that showed the trio stopping for lunch at Cara. "Here we go…" she wrote over the image.

The mom of two — who also shares teen model Kai Schreiber with Liev — followed up with another photo, this time showing just her and Liev. "Mom and Dad," she captioned the post. Liev reposted the image on his own Instagram Stories.

The following day, Naomi gave fans a glimpse into "Day #2" of their trip. The trio visited Target to pick up some essentials for Sasha's dorm. Naomi then uploaded a photo after they finished shopping, leaving the store with a trolley full of supplies, including a utensil set, pillows, towels, and more.

Sasha's journey to USC comes just under a month after celebrating his 18th birthday. Liev posted a tribute in honor of the special day, expressing just how much he wants the youngster to stick around after graduation.
"Happy Birthday Handsome! I really think you should reconsider that gap year hanging with me in Southeast Asia…" the doting dad penned. Naomi also wished her eldest child a happy birthday, thanking him for making her "a first time mum.♥️"
