Angelina Jolie Reportedly Preparing to Sell L.A. Home and Move Abroad
The "Mr. & Mrs Smith" star is reportedly eyeing several overseas locations to move with her six children. The reports come several months after she and her ex-husband finalized their divorce.
Angelina Jolie is reportedly preparing to sell her home in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Los Feliz, which she purchased for a whopping $24.5 million in 2017. The estate previously belonged to the late, famed filmmaker Cecil B. DeMille.

According to the LA Times, the property sits on over two acres of land and boasts more than 11,000 square feet of interior space. It features six bedrooms, ten bathrooms, a vast wine cellar, a tea house, formal gardens, and several other amenities that exude that vintage charm.
It was built in 1913, shortly after which DeMille began residing until his death in 1959. Jolie bought the home almost a year after she filed for divorce from Brad Pitt in September 2016.

She later told British Vogue in 2021, "I wanted it to be close to their dad, who is only five minutes away," referring to Pitt and their six children. The couple finalized their separation after eight years of legal battles in December 2024.
Now, the actress is ready to let go of her L.A. abode. According to a source who spoke to PEOPLE, Jolie "never wanted to live in L.A. full time. She didn't have a choice because of the custody arrangement with Brad."

The source added that she "plans to relocate as soon as Knox and Viv turn 18 next year. She's eyeing several locations abroad. She'll be very happy when she's able to leave Los Angeles."
Another insider told the publication that plans to sell the house after making some minor improvements.
