Joe Biden's Daughter Ashley Divorcing Husband After 13 Years
Ashley Biden is closing a chapter in her personal life after more than a decade of marriage, marking a significant change for the youngest daughter of President Joe Biden.
Ashley Biden, daughter of President Joe Biden, has filed for divorce from her husband, Dr. Howard Krein, after more than 13 years together, according to court records. The reason for the separation has not been disclosed, as divorce records in Philadelphia are not public.

The 44-year-old submitted the divorce petition to the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas on Monday, The New York Post confirmed. That same day, Biden's Instagram Story featured a photo of her strolling through a park with a thumbs-up gesture, set to Beyoncé’s "Freedom."
She also shared a message that read, "New life, new beginnings means new boundaries. New ways of being that won't look or sound like they did before."
Biden and Krein married in June 2012 in Greenville, Delaware, two years after being introduced by her late brother, Beau Biden. Their ceremony took place at St. Joseph on the Brandywine Roman Catholic Church — the same church where Ashley was baptized — with about 200 guests in attendance.
The couple had been residing in Philadelphia prior to their split. Krein, 59, is an otolaryngologist and plastic surgeon at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals in Philly.
