
Kenneth Washington, Last Surviving Cast Member of 'Hogan's Heroes,' Dies at 88
The veteran television and film star was best known for roles in the popular franchise "Star Trek: The Original Series" and the western film "Westworld."
Actor Kenneth Washington reportedly passed away on July 18, 2025, at the age of 88. His cause of death has not yet been revealed in the wake of his passing.
Washington was the last surviving cast member of the hit 1965 sitcom, "Hogan's Heroes," which aired for six seasons. He played Sergeant Richard Baker in the final season of the show in 1970. However, just a year later, the show got canceled.
In addition, Washington was also a family face on several other TV shows in the 1960s. He appeared in "Star Trek: The Original Series," "The Name of the Game, "I Dream of Jeannie," and "My Three Sons," among others.
Washington also starred in the western sci-fi film, "Westworld" in 1973. His final TV appearance was in 1989, where he appeared in "A Different World" alongside Jasmine Guy.
The Hollywood veteran is survived by his wife, Alice Marshall, and their three kids. He also leaves behind three grandkids and four great-grandchildren. In addition, he had two siblings, a brother and a sister, who have outlived him.
