Adam Levine is returning to “The Voice” once again, confirming his role as a coach for the milestone 30th season after celebrating a major win with his contestant, signaling a continued commitment to the show that helped define his television career.

Adam Levine is not stepping away from “The Voice” anytime soon. The Maroon 5 frontman has confirmed that he will return as a coach for the show’s upcoming 30th season, extending his long-running relationship with the hit singing competition.

A Confirmed Return

The news was revealed on April 14, 2026, when Levine confirmed that he had signed on for the milestone season. The announcement comes as the show prepares for its next chapter, with Levine once again taking a seat in the iconic red chair.

"I will be back," the 47-year-old singer said. "I'm having so much fun doing it. Since I came back a few seasons ago it's just been a blast and I'm super happy to keep it going as long as they'll have me."

While Levine’s return is now certain, the rest of the coaching lineup for season 30 has not yet been announced.

A Long History With the Show

Season 30 will mark Levine’s 19th season as a coach on “The Voice.” He was part of the original lineup when the show premiered and remained a central figure for 16 consecutive seasons.

Levine stepped away from the series in May 2019, leaving behind a significant legacy as one of its most recognizable faces. His departure marked the end of an era for longtime viewers.

However, his absence did not last forever.

A Strategic Comeback

Levine made his return to “The Voice” during season 27, a move that drew attention from fans who had followed his journey since the beginning. Reflecting on that decision, he previously explained that timing played a key role.

Speaking about his return, Levine said it happened because "the stars aligned."

After sitting out season 28, Levine returned again for season 29, which premiered on February 23. His continued involvement suggests a renewed enthusiasm for the show and its format.

Celebrating a New Win

The announcement of Levine’s return comes on the heels of a major victory. His contestant, Alexia Jayy, was crowned the winner of season 29, adding another title to Levine’s record as a coach.

The win further solidifies his reputation as a strong mentor on the show. Over the years, Levine has guided multiple contestants to victory, demonstrating his ability to connect with artists and help them succeed.

A Proven Track Record

Levine’s history on “The Voice” includes several notable wins. He first secured a victory during the inaugural season with Javier Colon. He later won again in season 5 with Tessanne Chin and in season 9 with Jordan Smith.

These achievements have helped establish him as one of the most successful coaches in the show’s history. His return for season 30 brings both experience and continuity as the competition moves forward.

Levine’s Continued Commitment

Levine’s decision to return again reflects his ongoing connection to “The Voice.” Despite stepping away in the past, he has repeatedly come back to the show, suggesting that it remains an important part of his career.

His comments about enjoying the experience indicate that his role as a coach continues to be both professionally and personally rewarding.

With nearly two decades of involvement, Levine remains one of the show’s defining figures. His continued participation signals stability as the competition moves forward, even as other details about the upcoming season remain under wraps.

As fans await more announcements, one thing is clear: Adam Levine is not done with “The Voice” just yet.
