The gold medalist, who wore an Oscar de la Renta outfit, completed her look with dangling earrings and had her long, dark hair styled in soft waves.

She wasn't alone at the event. The athlete's kidney doctor, who has been treating her incurable condition since her diagnosis in 2023, tagged along for the auspicious occasion.

Ahead of the ceremony on July 16, Lee expressed in an interview, "I'm so excited. It's her first time on a red carpet. So it's really fun for the both of us. But she was the one person who actually believed in me whenever I was going through everything."

Lee had more to be happy about as the evening progressed. The six-time medalist reportedly walked away with the Best Comeback Athlete award at the ESPYS.
