Vice President JD Vance Visits Disneyland with Family as Netizens Protest
The politician is currently under fire amid ICE raids in the state, as people gathered outside the hotel where he and his family stayed during their vacation.
Vice President JD Vance and his wife, Usha Vance, along with their two children, visited Disneyland in Anaheim, California, on July 12, 2025. They were pictured enjoying a meal inside the Pirates of the Caribbean ride.
A photo shows the Ohio-born family man wearing a gray sweatshirt paired with dark pants and a baseball cap. He was pictured standing behind his son, dressed in a white Mickey Mouse t-shirt, who was seated.
Once news broke that the Republican planned on visiting the theme park, hundreds of people flocked to the location to protest against the trip. It comes amid the Trump administration's ICE raids in Los Angeles.
One protester reportedly held a sign adorned with JD's face that read, "No family vacation while we deal with family separation." Another said in an interview:
"I would tell [Vance] to go home. Get the hell out of here. We don't want him here."
The protestors reportedly gathered outside, near the Grand Californian Hotel where the politician and his family were staying. They waved flags and chanted.
