Lizzo Gets Real About Weight Loss and Ozempic Rumors: ‘Here’s the Truth’
The "About Damn Time" singer took to Instagram to share an update on her weight release journey and address the rampant Ozempic rumors following her noticeable weight loss in recent months.
On Thursday, July 3, Lizzo shared an appreciation post dedicated to Flavia Lanini, the owner of Flavia Lanini Beauty Institute. The artist posted a short carousel of selfies taken after her lymphatic massages at the lavish spa.

The first image was a side-by-side comparison of her first massage to her most recent. "THIS IS A @flavialanini APPRECIATION POST," Lizzo began. "The photo on the left is my first time getting lymphatic massage from Flavia, and the right is the most recent!"
She continued, "Here's the truth! I work my ass off, training 3x a week, daily sauna & cardio, adding animal protein back into my diet, hiring a chef who helps me meal prep and keeps track of what I put into my body in a calorie deficit."

Lizzo added that she cut out Starbucks beverages, full-fat sodas, and potato chips from her diet. She also stopped drinking for "the longest time" but recently started again because, "I earned it!"
"I play pickleball and hike and walk on the beach and move my body and dance and drink water. I detox! Once a month! I also get holistic body work done, wood therapy, and lymphatic massage," she said.

"I'm so happy and proud of what I've done and no one can take that away from me. 😇," she concluded the message. Lizzo's post comes after she admitted she "tried everything" during her appearance on Trisha Paytas's podcast last month, but ultimately committed to living a healthy lifestyle.
