Anne Burrell’s Last Public Appearance with Her Husband Before Her Death
The former "Worst Cooks in America" host passed away suddenly earlier this week. Her death comes nearly two months after what would become her final public appearance with her husband.

Anne Burrell didn't step out for public events often, but when she did, her husband, Stuart Claxton, sometimes tagged along. The last time the pair were seen together at a public event was on April 22 of this year.

They were attending City Harvest's 2025 Gala, which took place at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City. Burrell exuded elegance in an all-black outfit featuring a long, tailored blazer over a satin top and a sparkling, beaded fringe skirt.

She accessorized with a vintage-style brooch, statement earrings, and dark nail polish, while her signature platinum hair and red lipstick complete the bold ensemble.

Beside her, Claxton kept it classic yet relaxed in a light gray blazer over a white shirt, paired with black trousers and matching black shoes. Following news of Burrell's passing, a clip of the couple arriving on the red carpet resurfaced and circulated widely online.

The pair appeared happy and at ease in each other's presence as they posed for photos.
Burrell was found unresponsive in her Brooklyn home on Tuesday, June 17. First responders were dispatched to her residence and attempted to revive the celebrity chef, but were unable to. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her family released a statement via PEOPLE, confirming her death. "Anne's light radiated far beyond those she knew, touching millions across the world. Though she is no longer with us, her warmth, spirit, and boundless love remain eternal," the statement read.
