The 57-year-old Oscar winner wore a bright red coat adorned with soccer ball prints over a sleek all-black ensemble as she walked towards the venue and smiled for photos at the charity event.
The annual match raises funds for UNICEF and featured celebrities like Tom Hiddleston, Louis Tomlinson, and Bella Ramsey. While Roberts' enthusiasm at the event was widely appreciated, her fashion choice left social media users divided.
"Hideous," one person wrote. Another added, "She never was very stylish, that jacket yikes 😬." A third commented, "Love her but …"
Roberts has yet to post her outfit on her own social media page, but she did announce spending time in London, with a post captioned: "Nothing like kicking off summer in sunny London @theemorylondon. 🏴☀️⚽️"
In the photo, she's seen lounging outdoors in a navy blue tracksuit, sunglasses on, feet up, and looking completely relaxed as she soaks in the London sunshine.
